How's everyone doing? Are you having a great time on SWTOR? ^__^
Thought I post a little questionnaire to get some activity going on here. Feel free to answer it if you like.
1. Who is your main? (Class, Advanced Class, Level, Species, etc.)
2. What other characters do you play?
3. What type of server do you play on? (RP, RP-PVP, PVE, PVP)
4. Which faction is your favorite?
5. What do you like most about the game?

7. What would you like to see added to the game?
8. Are you new to MMORPGs? If not, which games have you played before?

3. What type of server do you play on? RP
4. Which faction is your favorite? I like both. However if I had to pick one I guess it'll be the Empire.
5. What do you like most about the game? I like the story and the companion system.
6. What do you like the least about the game? Nothing yet.
7. What would you like to see added to the game? Chat bubbles and maybe some more RP tools to help RPers.
8. Are you new to MMORPGs? If not, which games have you played before? I'm not new to MMORPGS. I used to play World of Warcraft, City of Heroes, Lord of the Rings Online, and Star Wars Galaxies.

4. Which faction is your favorite? Empire!
5. What do you like most about the game? The stories and the companions. I'm so sucked into how my characters are developing.
6. What do you like the least about the game? Not having a single AC respec at low levels. I had a Sniper and a Sorcerer but I retired them for the new ones because I found I didn't like the way those ACs played. And I read about them online first, but I feel like you don't reaaally know if you'll like a class till you try it? And redoing Korriban for, no lie, the 7th time was horrifically painful.
7. What would you like to see added to the game? I guess I answered that above; 1-time AC respec.
8. Are you new to MMORPGs? If not, which games have you played before? Basically. I played the first 2 campaigns of Guild Wars back in 2006ish, but I never grouped with other people and it was really more a single-player experience and it's not a traditional MMO anyway.
9. Any comments? I am hoping I'm not going to be the only fanficcer on DW!

3) What type of server do you play on? RP (though I'm too shy to do so in game)
4) Which faction is your favorite? That's complicated. It's slightly more satisfying, somehow, to play a good person in an unabashedly evil country than a good person in a thoroughly messed up country that thinks it's good. So, Empire, just barely?
5) What do you like most about the game? The story - cut scenes, voice acting, dialogue choices, slight differences in quest endings, mail from characters you help, and all that included. It's your own movie. Awesome! (I am also infinitely amused by what happens if your agent is unwise enough not to kneel to Lord Jadus. Infinitely amused.)
6) What do you like least about the game? So far, the Jedi starting planet. Very pretty, but all those tiny little trails on the map that you can't zoom in on. Figuring out how to get to quest objectives was hell. Also, it's the only part of the game that felt grindy. Maybe it was all the denture wearing Manka Cats. It felt too WoW-like.
7) What would you like to see added to the game? Same-sex romances and flirts. A few enemies who actually do respond to diplomacy. (And not with blaster fire.) More options on a few of the quests/dialogues.
8) Are you new to MMORPGs? If not, which games have you played before? Decidedly not. I've played City of Heroes/Villains, World of Warcraft, and Champions Online for decent periods of time - and still play Champions. Or will. (WoW, however is dead to me now.) I also tried Aion and did the Star Trek Online beta.
9) Any comments? Um, hi? *waves* My journal here is rather silly. And currently full of SW:TOR.

But, it's just so right. He's a Sith, he expects respect and deference. Not some non-force-sensitive nobody refusing to kneel to him after (in my case anyway) not exactly jumping at the chance to spy on Imperial Intelligence for him. It's what would happen in a book or movie if the hero was so unwise. But it's not what generally happens in MMOs.

2. What other characters do you play? Human Jedi Shadow (consular) Human Sith Inquisitor, something around lvl 10 both of them.
3. What type of server do you play on? RP.
4. Which faction is your favorite? I play republic as my main but she has an alter ego on sith side, so kind of hard question to answer.
5. What do you like most about the game? There is a LOT i like about this game but most? Flashpoints design. everything from enforced group storytelling to being able to make decision.
6. What do you like the least about the game? female toon relationship options are meh at best (compared to male toon ones) and some dialogue seems to be written for male characters without much thought. For smuggler dialogues at least, it seems to be a bit less obvious in jedi so far.
7. What would you like to see added to the game? same-sex flirting, bug fixes, macro ability (maybe I just can't find it?)
8. Are you new to MMORPGs? If not, which games have you played before? Played WoW for about two years. Planning to play TSW when it comes out.
9. Any comments? *waves* hi, I found this comm about 10 minutes ago. :)

Date: 2012-01-10 04:52 am (UTC)The relationship options seem...odd. I haven't played all that high, or all of the classes yet, but I'm baffled as to why my female smuggle would want to get it on with Corso. He's dippy, and rather sexist. (Maybe he improves?)
Of course, I can't really see any rationale for a light side male agent getting it on with Kaliyo. She's, er, just a wee bit evil. (Maybe she improves?) Mostly I imagine my agent going around thinking "Please stop talking about burning things down in the middle of the capital city. The Sith already don't like me."
(Some of the other class male romance options sound far more sensible. And I've heard very little about other female romance options. That's not a good sign.)
I was curious what you were thinking of in the smuggler dialogues. Granted, Corso talking to a woman about not shooting women is...weird. But that's the only thing I can think of that didn't quite sound right. (You are, of course, much higher level than me.)

7. What would you like to see added to the game? Same-sex romance!

I play a Chiss Bounty Hunter, Powertech (Pyro Spec). I just hit level 40 last night! This class is amazing and I have so much fun with missiles. xD

Human Imperial Agent (5) and Zabrak Inquisitor (13).
3. What type of server do you play on? (RP, RP-PVP, PVE, PVP)
PVE! After playing on a PVP server for so long, my group of friends decided they'd had enough and just wanted to chill. But we really like the battlegrounds.
4. Which faction is your favorite?
The Mandalorians, for sure!! I love their code of honor. So badass.
5. What do you like most about the game?
The capacity for story. I don't think it would be the same without it!
6. What do you like the least about the game?
The weird system requirements that have to be met to play it. I can run Skyrim on medium just fine, but lag like crazy on low. :(
7. What would you like to see added to the game?
I'm not really sure yet, but maybe more end game content?
8. Are you new to MMORPGs? If not, which games have you played before?
Nah, I had played WoW for roughly five years. Does Maple Story even count? Because I played that one too, though those are times I'd rather forget! :p
9. Any comments?
I love my crew. Mako, Blizz, Torian, and yes... even you, Gault. xD I haven't met Skadge yet, so... we'll see! :D
