Weekly Question: Who would you like to have as same-sex romance options?

I'm going to try to ask a question a week in order to keep discussion going. Here's one to start off with!

I know there’s still a lot of confusion floating around on whether it’ll be new companions (and hopefully world NPCs, for non-companion flirt options!) or backpatched to old ones. But in a perfect world, when you could romance any same-sex NPC, who would you want and why and what would they do?

Female IA/Watcher Two. Everything about her is perfect; face, voice, the way she fills out that Imperial uniform… She’s obviously crazy super smart, and I like the little facets of individual personality that peek out of her business demeanor. I’d love to have a female Agent slowly romance her, and it’d involve lots of home-cooked meals and nerdy shop talk about Intelligence protocols and maybe some literature or art and fine dining.

Master Satile Shan can meditate with my Jedi Knight anytime, yo.

But since neither she nor Kiwiks seem like the secret-relationship-against-the-code type, I'm hoping for a new character. Kira is not my knight's type.

For my Trooper, it would have been nice to be able to romance Jaxo, but Jorgan was so goshdarn adorbs that I had her go for him.

I'd also like to see some NPC same-gender relationships--we're constantly running into NPCs with spouses. It'd be nice to occasionally hear a "PLEASE! My husband is trapped in Axial Park!" type background conversation about a gay couple.

New companions would be cool, but really Risha. Also in terms of I'd hit it any which way: awesome Imperial guy from Balmorra I can never remember the name of and Thana from Taris.

I'd be pretty happy if they were all willing to swing both ways, you can choose to flirt or not and then no one gets broken hearted. Especially since Kira seems epic and I'd love to romance her with my lady Jedi Knight.

On the m/m side, I've only had a BH so far, but Torian and I have a great bromance going, I would never cheat on Mako, but I could see it (as long as he didn't look like Bieber Fett). Maybe Quinn/SW. And Jaesa/SW, because, well, let's just say without spoilers that her crazy obessive loyalty started to look pretty great after a certain couple of turns in my plotline.

My Bounty Hunter would very much like to get it on with Mako. They make great sisters-in-arms anyway, but they'd be a cute couple. They'd go right on being a scary-awesome bounty hunting pair, they'd just be partners in every sense of the word.

I suspect that Sanju Pyne, from the Imperial Agent questline on Balmorra, was originally intended to be bi, since his mention of wanting to have drinks and hear about your exploits sounded at least mancrush like. And I know he is a one-night-stand/planetary romance/whatever you want to call it option for female agents. I think he should be for agents of both sexes. Kaliyo would undoubtedly have rolled her eyes and excused herself due to an overdose of goodness if my Agent had been able to take Sanju out for drinks, but that wouldn't have stopped them from having a good time.

Actually, even though my characters wouldn't necessarily go for them, I'd sort of like to see all the romancible companion characters be romancible by both sexes. And I'd definitely like to see more world NPCs available to flirt with, for either or both sexes. (Many of the in class flirtable NPCs I've encountered so far do not seem bi, though. But the ones that do seem plausibly bi, I think they should make bi.)

I finished the story quest with Beryl on Taris with my Fem!Smuggler and there was this....one moment at the end when you warn her about the Republic Police (can't remember their exact title) that just....SCREAMED sudden moment to maybe kiss her. It even had the smoopy sounding music flare up at one point and I was all D:. Damn.

Mako, Kira, and Risha. I want to romance them so bad as Lady! BH/JG/SM. Maybe even the Zabrak from the smuggler companions as well (and all of that because i HATE Corso with a passion).

I'd just like to see the Flirts (especially the ones that don't go anywhere) be available to PC of either gender. (e.g, that receptionist on Hutta whose name I can't recall).

I also liked Lord Cytharat. I'd love to see him as an optional companion (something like HK or Treek). Romanceable or not, IMO he'd be a marvelous companion for any Light-aligned player of either faction.
